Polish Police launch safety education campaigns

Police departments across various Polish regions are conducting extensive safety education campaigns targeting children, youth, and adults. These initiatives focus on road safety, including proper use of car seats, seatbelts, and the importance of wearing reflectors to increase visibility to drivers.

In several locations, such as Grodzisk Mazowiecki and Żabia Wola, officers have held practical workshops where students practice crossing streets using the ‘look left, right, and left again’ rule. Other programs target older students, addressing legal responsibilities, the dangers of cybercrime, and the safe use of electric scooters and bicycles.

In Andrespol, efforts have expanded to include online safety, with officers educating families on how to combat cyberbullying, hate speech, and internet-related violence. These community-based programs aim to build trust between law enforcement and residents while fostering long-term safety habits.
