Polish police warn of phishing scams impersonating police and couriers

A concurrent wave of misleading SMS messages pretends to come from courier services, claiming delivery problems or unpaid fees and prompting users to click links to confirm details. Clicking directs victims to replica sites where personal data, banking credentials or payment information are harvested, sometimes leading to malware installation. Authorities advise checking shipment status on the carrier’s official website and avoiding any links in unsolicited messages.
