Polish President Karol Nawrocki clashes with PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński

President Karol Nawrocki became the focus of a heated debate on the Polsat News programme "Debata Gozdyry", where opposition parties accused him of playing a "toxic" role and called for his "neutralisation". The exchange featured KO MP Witold Zembaczyński demanding the removal of Nawrocki’s influence and PiS MP Józefa Szczurek‑Żelazko rebuking his comments as a scandal.

Former presidential adviser to Andrzej Duda disclosed that Nawrocki also defied PiS chief Jarosław Kaczyński by appointing Zbigniew Kapiński as the new president of the Supreme Court, a move that sparked shock within the party. The adviser said the decision directly contradicted Kaczyński’s expectations and highlighted a growing rift between the president and the ruling Law and Justice party.
