President Karol Nawrocki and First Lady Marta Nawrocka see split public approval after a year

A June 2026 IBRiS poll commissioned by Polsat News found that 48.1% of Poles view President Karol Nawrocki positively, while 47.9% express a negative opinion. Support is strongest among senior voters (over 70) and rural residents, with 58.5% of the latter rating him positively. Urban and highly‑educated respondents are more critical, with only 35.1% giving a positive rating. Gender differences are minimal.

A separate SW Research poll for Wprost shows that 48% of respondents assess First Lady Marta Nawrocka’s work positively, 25.6% negatively, and 26.5% are undecided. Younger people (under 24) are the most favorable, rating her positively at 57.9%, while older voters are less enthusiastic. The first lady’s support is higher in villages (55.7%) than in larger cities. Both polls highlight a polarized but balanced public view of the presidential couple one year into Karol Nawrocki’s term, which began after his 2025 election victory with 50.9% of the vote.
