Polish actress Marta Wierzbicka, known for her role in ‘Na Wspólnej’, has shared insights into her marriage to Jan Sokolik. Following their private wedding in May 2025, Wierzbicka discussed the dynamics of their daily life, noting that she prefers to maintain control in the kitchen while her husband assists with tasks like rolling dough for pierogi.

She described the foundations of their relationship as a combination of love, friendship, mutual support, and the willingness to listen to one another. She noted that marriage served to cement a bond that was already strong before their wedding.

Separately, Marta Nawrocka, the First Lady, reflected on her unexpected career path. Before her current public role, she trained as a dancer at the Janina Jarzynówna-Sobczak State Ballet School in Gdańsk. This discipline was followed by a law degree from the University of Gdańsk and a career in state services before her life shifted due to her husband Karol Nawrocki’s presidency.
