Polish public libraries modify opening hours and e‑book access rules

The Municipal Public Library in Morąg announced temporary changes to opening hours for its main branch and nine branch locations during July and August. Normal hours are altered for specific weekdays, with several days and holidays when the libraries will be closed. Notices will be posted at the entrances, on the website and on Facebook.

The Library in Racibórz introduced a new monthly system for distributing access codes to the Legimi and Empik Go e‑book platforms. Users must be at least 16, registered, have no debt, and submit a monthly request via an online form. A limited number of codes are issued each month, each valid for 30 days after activation, and existing Legimi accounts will retain their data.

Both announcements aim to inform patrons of altered service schedules and digital borrowing procedures for the summer period.
