Polish public opinion on Ukraine war and Zelenskyy
Recent polling in Poland reveals significant public concern regarding the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. According to a SW Research survey, 63.3% of Poles believe that a Ukrainian defeat would decrease Poland's national security. Concerns are most pronounced among citizens aged 50 and older, where 69% hold this view, and among residents of cities with populations between 200,000 and 499,000, where 73% expressed similar fears.
Separately, a United Surveys by IBRiS poll indicates critical views toward Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy regarding Polish interests. Approximately 62.1% of respondents evaluate his presidency negatively from a Polish perspective. This sentiment is heavily influenced by political affiliation: while 66% of ruling party supporters view him positively, 89% of opposition supporters and 94% of Konfederacja voters hold negative views.
