Polish publishers announce new autumn book releases

Several Polish publishing houses have announced upcoming book releases across various genres, including thrillers, fantasy, and horror.

Wydawnictwo Skarpa Warszawska is introducing autumn titles such as the thriller ‘Mrok kroczy przez las’ by Mons and Karolina Kallentoft, and the historical crime novel ‘Schizma’ by Krzysztof Bochus, set in 1813 Gdańsk.

Other notable upcoming releases include ‘Czarodziejski statek’ by Robin Hobb, scheduled for October 2026 via Wydawnictwo Vesper, and ‘Sen o Szepczącym Lesie’ by Dagmary Zielant-Wośpt, set in the Bieszczady mountains, published by Zysk i S-ka.

In the horror genre, Replika will release Graham Masterton’s ‘Otchłań’, a story set near Gdynia involving a sunken submarine wreck. Additionally, Wydawnictwo Mag has released Roger Levy’s ‘Platforma’ as part of its ‘Uczta Wyobraźni’ series.
