Polish Red Cross distributes school kits in Bydgoszcz

The Polish Red Cross (PCK) has distributed the first 200 sets of school supplies to students in Bydgoszcz as part of the ‘Wyprawka dla żaka’ (School Kit for a Student) initiative. The kits, which include backpacks and complete sets of school supplies, are intended to support children from families in difficult financial situations and children with disabilities.

Tomasz Okoński, director of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie District Branch of the Polish Red Cross, noted that the supplies were collected over the last two months from local residents, sponsors, and companies. The initiative will continue with upcoming distributions to students in Toruń, Włocławek, and Grudziądz. A charity concert titled ‘Podaruj Dzieciom Serce’ is scheduled for September 11 at the Immobile Łuczniczka hall in Bydgoszcz to mark the campaign's conclusion.
