Polish religious groups launch marriage and family workshops

Religious and community organizations in Poland are launching initiatives aimed at strengthening marriage and family relationships through specialized workshops and social gatherings.

In Parczew, the Sanctuary of Our Lady Queen of Families and the Wybieram Rodzinę Foundation are hosting events in November. These include an ‘Inspiring Marriage Date’ on November 8, which focuses on the FUKO communication method to help families discuss needs and feelings more effectively. Additionally, the organizers are planning retreats titled ‘The Wound of the Home in My Home’ to address deep-seated family dynamics.

In Piła, the Capuchin friars at St. Anthony’s Parish have introduced a ‘Marriage Date’ initiative. Held in a cafe-like setting, these meetings aim to provide couples with a space for conversation and connection. The first session, titled ‘Do I Still Know You?’, is scheduled for November 6 and offers childcare to facilitate participation.
