Polish Retail Media Study Shows Ads Influence 48% of Shoppers
A joint report by UCE Research and MyShopTV surveyed nearly 1,000 shoppers in Poland and found that 48.6% of respondents noticed advertising displayed on in‑store media and reacted to the messages. Among those who saw the ads, about half reported an impact on their buying behaviour: 16.2% made a purchase during the same visit, while 32.4% said the ad prompted a future purchase, with 21% indicating they might buy the product on a later trip and 11% considering it without buying. Conversely, 43.9% said the advertisement did not sway them. The study’s co‑author, Maciej Tygielski, highlighted that retail media, though still developing in Poland, can significantly shape consumer decisions.
