Polish school cross-country running competitions held in multiple regions
Various regional school cross-country running competitions were held across Poland in late September 2026, serving as qualifiers for provincial finals.
In Kutno, UKS Posejdon and the Municipal Center for Sport and Recreation organized individual races for secondary school students. A total of 134 participants competed, with Lena Wiśniewska and Krzysztof Chlebny securing first place in the girls' and boys' categories, respectively. The top five runners from each category will advance to the provincial final in Bełchatów on September 29.
In Słubice, relay cross-country races were conducted at the SOSiR golf course as part of the 2026/2027 Lubuskie Youth Olympics. Schools from the Słubice district competed across three categories: Children's Games, School Youth Games, and Licealiada. Winners earned advancement to the provincial final scheduled for October 8, 2026, in Babimost.
Additionally, the Licealiada championships took place in Piątkowa. Despite challenging weather conditions, including heavy rain and temperatures of 12°C, student relay teams competed in the cross-country events.
