Polish schools celebrate significant anniversaries

Several educational institutions in Poland recently held anniversary celebrations. In Wola Osowińska, the local primary school commemorated the 16th anniversary of being named after Colonel Zdzisław Krasnodębski. The event included a mass, a ceremony at a memorial obelisk, and artistic performances by students. Brigadier General Waldemar Gołębiowski attended, highlighting the legacy of Krasnodębski, a former pilot and veteran of the Polish-Soviet War and World War II.

In Bytom, Primary School No. 46 celebrated its 60th anniversary. The milestone event, which included the burial of a time capsule and a mass at St. Barbara's Church, brought together alumni, former directors, and local officials. Notable attendees included jazz vocalist and alumna Ewa Uryga. The school, originally built as part of the 'Tysiąclatka' program in the 1960s, was honored for its long-standing contribution to the community.
