Polish schools host literary events and reading celebrations

Educational institutions in Poland have held various events to promote reading and classical literature. At the Zespół Szkół Licealno-Technicznych in Kluczbork, students performed a theatrical production of Adam Mickiewicz’s ‘Dziady’ Part II. The event included a digital quiz via Kahoot and an interactive role-playing game designed to help students relate the classic characters to modern-day scenarios.

In Lubin, Primary School No. 1 celebrated National Loud Reading Day, an initiative established by the Polish Book Chamber. Under the slogan ‘I read to myself, I read to you’, older students acted as narrators for younger children in grades 1-3 to encourage literacy and strengthen community bonds within the school.
