Polish series 'Ranczo' confirmed for 11th season 'Zemsta wiedźm
TVP has located a previously unknown 2015 screenplay and confirmed that filming has begun on the 11th season of the popular Polish series Ranczo, titled "Ranczo. Zemsta wiedźm." The new installment will consist of six episodes set in the fictional village of Wilkowyje and aims to portray the community as it might appear in 2026 while retaining the series' trademark humor, warmth and social observation.
The storyline is based on a script written by the late Andrzej Grembowicz (pen name Robert Brutter) together with his son Marcin Grembowicz. The producers note that the text has gained fresh relevance after several years. Returning cast members include Ilona Ostrowska, Cezary Żak, Artur Barciś, Marta Chodorowska, Grażyna Zielińska, Violetta Arlak, among many others, with Daniel Olbrychski joining as Ignacy Japycz.
Actress Aleksandra Szwed, in a recent interview, said she would consider a one‑season return to the related series Rodzina Zastępcza if the opportunity arose, but expressed uncertainty, noting the importance of the original screenwriter’s legacy for both shows.
