Polish Silesian Police Complete Environmental Crime Training

From July 1‑3 2026, officers of the Katowice Provincial Police Command attended a three‑day specialist course on combating environmental crime. The program was hosted by the 15th Lubusz Territorial Defence Brigade and included lectures and field exercises on hazardous‑waste identification, drone surveillance, evidence documentation and modern waste‑processing technologies.

Representatives of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection and the Silesian Customs Office also participated, allowing agencies to exchange experience and improve joint operational procedures for detecting and prosecuting illegal waste handling and other offenses against the environment.
