Polish Society of Laboratory Diagnosticians holds congress in Bialystok

The XXI National Congress of the Polish Society of Laboratory Diagnosticians is taking place in Bialystok, bringing together over 500 specialists. Hosted by the Bialystok Medical University, the event features a scientific program including plenary sessions, thematic sessions, poster sessions, and workshops focused on modern technologies and laboratory medicine.

During the General Assembly of Delegates, Professor Katarzyna Winsz-Szczotka was re-elected as President of the Society for the 2026–2030 term. The assembly also saw the election of new board members, including Jolanta Mrochem-Kwarciak and Kornelia Kuźnik-Trocha from the Katowice Branch. The congress serves as a platform for knowledge exchange and discussing the rapid evolution of laboratory medicine as a foundation for medical diagnosis and therapy.
