Abramczyk Polonia Bydgoszcz secures promotion to PGE Ekstraliga

Abramczyk Polonia Bydgoszcz has secured promotion to the PGE Ekstraliga after a dominant season in the Metalkas 2. Ekstraliga. The team clinched their spot following a 51:27 victory over Hunters PSŻ Poznań in the play-off final, finishing the season undefeated with 16 wins and two draws.

Club President Jerzy Kanclerz and coach Dariusz Śledź noted the high tension during the final match, which was nearly interrupted by weather concerns. Śledź, who is expected to continue leading the team in the top tier, expressed relief after a stressful period.

Looking ahead to the 2027 season, the club is already planning its roster. Confirmed additions include Max Fricke and Ryan Douglas, while the team seeks an international junior to partner with Maksymilian Pawełczak. Domestic senior riders will include Szymon Woźniak, Krzysztof Buczkowski, and Wiktor Przyjemski.
