Polish speedway crash leaves Bydgoszcz rider Aleksandr Łoktajew injured but fracture‑free

During the eighth round of the Metalkas 2. Ekstraliga match in Krosno, a collision between Abramczyk Polonia Bydgoszcz rider Aleksandr Łoktajew and Cellfast Wilki Krosno rider Radosław Kowalski caused a serious crash. Both riders were knocked down and received on‑track medical attention.

Medical examinations confirmed that Łoktajew, who complained of heel pain, suffered no fractures or bone cracks. He will undergo a few days of intensive physiotherapy before returning to competition. Kowalski sustained a right‑shoulder injury that required hospital evaluation, while a junior Cellfast Wilki rider was also hospitalized with a shoulder injury and declared unable to continue the match. The incident halted the race, but both riders were able to leave the track on quad bikes after the stoppage.
