Polish speedway star Bartosz Zmarzlik sets new national win record

Polish rider Bartosz Zmarzlik became the holder of the most Speedway Grand Prix victories by a Pole, surpassing his idol Tomasz Gollob. At the Swedish GP in Malmö he recorded his 320th Grand Prix win, moving to third place on the all‑time list behind Greg Hancock (124) and Nicki Pedersen (101). The record places Zmarzlik ahead of Gollob (903) and highlights his dominance in the current championship season.

The season also marked the 55th anniversary of Poland’s historic World Pairs Championship triumph, the only time Polish duos have topped the podium in that event. The achievement remains a celebrated milestone in Polish speedway history.
