Polish sports: Avia Świdnik completes volleyball training and LKS Świniarsko remains undefeated

In Polish regional sports, volleyball team PZL LEONARDO Avia Świdnik has concluded its pre-season preparations. Following a tournament in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, where they finished third after defeating Lechia, coach Jakub Guz noted that the team showed signs of fatigue and a lack of dynamism due to an intensive seven-week training cycle. Despite some ongoing health issues within the squad, the team is shifting its focus to the upcoming league season.

In football, LKS Świniarsko has maintained an undefeated streak at the start of the 2026/2027 season. The team secured a 3:2 away victory against Galicja Nowy Sącz, with Bartłomiej Matiasz scoring the decisive goal in the 81st minute. With four wins and one draw, LKS Świniarsko sits in second place in the B-class table with 13 points, trailing leaders Piątkovia Łęg only on goal difference.
