Polish sports journalist Tomasz Kalemba departs Interia

Veteran sports journalist Tomasz Kalemba announced on the X platform that he is leaving Interia and is looking for new employment, stating that the separation was not his decision. Kalemba, who joined Interia's sport division in early 2022 after a 21‑year tenure at Onet, also contributed to Przegląd Sportowy.

During his career he covered major Olympic Games—from Vancouver 2010 through Paris 2024 and the upcoming Milan‑Cortina 2026 Winter Games—and numerous world championships in athletics, biathlon, skiing, volleyball and rowing. He has received awards such as the Małopolska Journalists’ Prize (2012) and the Golden Pen (2011‑2012). Kalemba declined further comment on the reasons for his departure.
