Polish high school students visit Prague and Kutná Hora on educational trips

Students from two Polish secondary schools spent several days in the Czech Republic on organized educational excursions. The first group from XLIII Liceum in Kraków toured Prague on May 26‑27, visiting landmarks such as the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Town Square and its Astronomical Clock, the Jewish Quarter and the historic St. Jerome’s Basilica, and took a boat ride on the Vltava River. The second group from Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. A. Mickiewicza explored a rock town with the Trosky castle ruins, then visited Prague’s major sights and spent a night in the UNESCO‑listed city of Kutná Hora, where they saw the Sedlec Ossuary (Capella of Bones) and St. Barbara’s Cathedral. Both trips combined classroom learning with cultural immersion and fostered peer integration.

The activities were described as successful, providing participants with memorable experiences of Czech history, architecture and heritage while strengthening friendships among the first‑year classes.
