Polish students lead local transport and safety initiatives
Local community initiatives in Poland are focusing on transport and safety through student-led activities. In Niepołomice, elementary school students participated in European Mobility Week by creating handmade cards and 'smiles' to express gratitude to local bus drivers for their role in ensuring safe and punctual public transport.
In Brzeziny, students from Primary School No. 3 held a performance as part of the national 'Shine Like an Example – Wear Reflectors!' campaign. The initiative aimed to increase awareness regarding pedestrian visibility at night and the importance of safety equipment, such as helmets for scooter users. The event was attended by local authorities, including the District Police Commander, and is part of the 'Reflective School 2026' project.
