Polish students participate in Reflective School safety campaign

Students in Gaworzyce and Ryńsko are participating in the Reflective School (Odblaskowa Szkoła) initiative, a nationwide educational program coordinated by the National Police Headquarters' Road Traffic Bureau. The campaign aims to promote safe behavior among children and youth while emphasizing the importance of road safety rules.

In Gaworzyce, students acted as safety experts by inspecting road infrastructure, including signage and pedestrian crossing visibility, and observing driver behavior. They also engaged the local community by distributing reflective elements and information leaflets at local businesses, including shops, a bank, and a hair salon.

In Ryńsko, students and staff from the local primary school conducted various activities, including musical performances and artistic presentations. Working alongside police officers, students wearing reflective vests distributed stickers and leaflets to drivers near the school to increase awareness. Local authorities have supported the competition by financing the purchase of reflective materials.
