Polish students travel to Auschwitz and Italy on educational outings

From June 10‑12, classes 1b, 2c and 3e of I LO Grudziądz visited the Auschwitz‑Birkenau Memorial and Museum, toured historic sites in Kraków such as the Mariacki Church and the Jagiellonian University, and spent a day at the Energylandia amusement park. The trip combined lessons on World‑War‑II history with cultural sightseeing and leisure activities.

In late May, fourteen pupils from the Special Schools and Educational Facilities in Radom participated in an Erasmus+ mobility program in Udine, Italy. Guided by four teachers, they attended workshops on Italian myths, conducted nature observations around Cornino and Cavazzo, and explored Udine’s historic centre, including the 16th‑century clock tower on Piazza della Libertà. The week‑long exchange also involved joint sessions with local students, language practice, and Italian cuisine, culminating in certificates for the participants.
