Polish Stars Set for Wimbledon 2024 with Iga Świątek Defending Title

Six Polish tennis players are on the entry list for Wimbledon 2024. Defending champion Iga Świątek, seeded third, opens against American Taylor Townsend. Wild‑card Maja Chwalińska will face Thailand’s Mananchaya Sawangkaew after receiving a prestigious wildcard from the organizers.

Magda Linette is scheduled to play French Open winner Mirra Andrejew a in the women's draw, while former world No. 2 Agnieszka Radwańska will compete in the Wimbledon Legends doubles event partnered with former Australian Open champion Karolina Woźniacka. The men’s side features Hubert Hurkacz and Kamil Majchrzak, both drawn against seeded opponents.

Serena Williams, returning with a wildcard after a two‑year absence, will also be in the main draw, adding further star power to the tournament. The event runs from 29 June to 12 July at the All England Club in London.
