Polish tennis stars set for Wimbledon and Bad Homburg matches
Wildcard recipient Maja Chwalińska will make her Wimbledon main‑draw debut after the tournament granted her a direct entry, bypassing qualifying rounds. Her first‑round match is scheduled for Monday, 29 June or Tuesday, 30 June, with the exact court and time to be announced a day in advance.
Iga Świątek’s next appearance will be at the Bad Homburg Open in Germany, where organizers have confirmed she will face American Emma Navarro on Wednesday, 23 June. The match will start no earlier than 15:30 on the centre court and is the third scheduled match of the day. Świątek, who exited the French Open in the last 16 to Marta Kostiuk, is looking to avenge a previous loss to Navarro in Beijing earlier in the season.
