Polish theater productions explore relationship crises through comedy

Recent theatrical productions in Poland are exploring the complexities of modern relationships through comedy. At Teatr Mały, a production of Daniel Glattauer’s ‘Wonderful Therapy’ follows a long-term couple, the Doreks, who seek psychotherapy as a final attempt to save their marriage before deciding to separate.

Additionally, the 30th Autumn Theater Festival featured Matías Del Federico’s ‘Therapy for Couples,’ directed by Wojciech Urbański. Performed at the Sokoł venue, the play depicts three different couples undergoing an emotional and confrontational therapeutic session that uncovers hidden secrets and personal truths.
