Polish tourism trends show Kołobrzeg and Turkey as top destinations
Reports on the 2026 summer holiday season in Poland indicate high demand for both domestic and international travel. According to Travelist.pl, domestic seaside and mountain destinations shared equal popularity, each accounting for 39 percent of reservations. Among Baltic Sea resorts, Kołobrzeg remained the top choice, followed by Mielno, Gdańsk, Międzyzdroje, and Pobierowo.
Regarding international travel, the Polish Chamber of Tourism reported that Turkey continues to be the most popular destination for travelers using tour operators, chosen by 28.3 percent of clients. Greece (18 percent) and Egypt (13.6 percent) followed in popularity. The Turkish Riviera was the most preferred specific region.
Economic data shows that the average cost per reservation for Polish travelers rose to 9,513 PLN, compared to 9,163 PLN the previous year. In July alone, over 335,000 contracts were reported to the Tourist Guarantee Fund, covering approximately 890,000 travelers.
