Polish Town Ossów Hosts 65th International Cycling Race for Minister of Defense Cup

The 65th International Cycling Race for the Minister of Defense Cup took place in Ossów, Poland, covering a 150.6‑kilometre course that traced the historic route of the 1920 Battle of Warsaw. The event began with a ceremony at the Museum of the Battle of Warsaw 1920, followed by an honour ride to Nowe Ręczaje before the competitive peloton set off.

A field of 146 riders from 27 professional teams, representing Poland and several foreign nations, contested the race. Marceli Bogusławski of ATT Investments claimed victory, with Radosław Frątczak (Wibatech) and Marko Tóth (United Shipping Team) completing the podium. The closing ceremony honored the winners at the museum, attended by officials including Magdalena Rochnowska, Deputy Director of the Polish Army Museum, and local representatives from Kobyłka and the surrounding Mazovia region.

The race highlighted the blend of sport and national heritage, reinforcing the event’s reputation as a premier fixture in Poland’s cycling calendar.
