Polish towns Hajnówka and Piotrków host community family picnics

On 31 May 2026, Hajnówka's municipal amphitheatre welcomed families to the XVII Family Picnic organized by the local parish and cultural centre. The event featured concerts by local ensembles, children's animations, market stalls and a concluding performance by the band KORS&RELAX. It was officially opened by priest Zbigniew Niemyjski and city officials.

A month later, on 20 July 2026, Piotrków Trybunalski held a family picnic to mark the Police Day celebrations and the centenary of district‑police service. Residents saw police horse and dog demonstrations, a virtual shooting range, a beach‑ball match and the unveiling of a new police mascot meant to promote safety education.

Both picnics were sponsored by municipal authorities and local organisations, offering entertainment, educational displays and opportunities for community interaction.
