On July 4, the municipality of Chrzanów hosted the 37th International Cycling Race of Solidarity and Olympians. Local fire brigade units, including the GLBM team and volunteer fire stations from Luszowice, Balin, Płaza and Pogorzyce, secured the route, controlled traffic at key intersections and ensured the peloton passed safely. The event proceeded without incident, supported by the local community and cooperation among emergency services.
On August 23, the town of Żerków will hold the 9th edition of the "Górka Żerkowska" street run, expecting over 240 participants. The program features a 10 km main race, a 5 km run, Nordic walking, children's activities and special competitions such as the Uniform Run 2026 and a marriage championship.
