Polish towns host summer cultural festivals

In Dzikowiec, the Jagodowe Specjały took place on July 5 in the Park Błotnickich, featuring local blueberry dishes, craft stalls, children’s activities and musical performances. The evening climax was a concert by the folk‑pop group Brathanki, followed by dancing with the band Intro, with the event running until midnight.

In Jarocin, the JOK cultural centre hosted a retro‑era disco night styled after the PRL period. Over 300 people dressed in period costumes danced to a playlist curated by former local DJ Grzegorz Grenda, who revived his three‑decade‑old set. The program included a costume contest and plans for a follow‑up event in September.
