Polish towns launch new service centers in Radomsko and Iłowa
On 9 July, the Radomsko County administration opened the Centre of Shared Services for the county. The new unit will support schools and other county institutions with administrative, financial and organisational assistance, aiming to improve efficiency and allow entities to focus on core activities. Local officials and councilors attended the ceremony and highlighted the centre’s role in modernising local government.
In Iłowa, a newly renovated building called “Dobre Miejsce” on Kolejowa 11 was inaugurated as the Centre of Social Services. The multi‑million‑zloty investment will host a senior club, a nursery, an astronomical observatory and other community facilities. Mayor Paweł Lichtański, the Lubusz voivodeship deputy marshal and the centre’s director stressed that this is the latest of 27 similar centres in the region, expanding space for resident engagement and new support services.
