Polish towns launch Orlik sports projects costing over 3 million zł

Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki has signed a contract for the "Orlik 2025" project, a new sports complex at Primary School No. 1. The development will include an artificial‑turf football pitch, a multi‑purpose polyurethane field, LED lighting, sanitary facilities and related infrastructure. The investment exceeds 2.1 million zł, with 50 % funded by the Physical Culture Development Fund, and is being built by Complexa Sportif. Completion is scheduled for 19 January 2027.

In Białystok, the Orlik field at the School of Trade and Economics will be comprehensively modernised. The city contract covers design and construction work costing about 964 thousand zł, of which roughly 392 thousand zł comes from the same development fund. Works will replace the old synthetic surface with new woven artificial grass on a shock‑pad, renew fences, nets, goalposts and upgrade surrounding fixtures. Deputy mayor Tomasz Klim said, "We invest in sport infrastructure for residents," and the project is expected to be finished by the end of 2026.
