Polish towns launch school corridor and library upgrades

In Tłuszcz, the municipality signed a contract to refurbish a second‑floor corridor at the Queen Jadwiga Primary School. The 135,000‑zł (gross) project will install a fire‑resistant partition wall, replace doors with fire‑rated units, lay new gres tiles, carry out painting, masonry and demolition work and add an emergency lighting system. Completion is scheduled for 31 August 2026.

In Żary, the city council approved measures to improve the functionality and safety of the municipal public library. The upgrades aim to modernise the building’s facilities, enhance protection against fire and other hazards, and create a more accessible environment for users.
