Polish towns launch summer outdoor art exhibitions

The Pszczyna County project “Pranie pachnące sztuką” opened on 27 June, presenting Karolina Błaszczyk’s paintings printed on canvas and hung on lines across public spaces, with additional shows by the Art‑Eqipa workshop group at various local sites. The initiative, supported by the county and cultural organisations, aims to bring art into daily walks and leisure.

In Morąg, the Municipal Library’s Gallery of Local Creators will host the “Oblicza przemiany” exhibition by painter Anna Szwarc from 1 July to 31 July. The show features landscape‑inspired works created with oils, acrylics, pastels and metallic paints, and will be introduced at a vernissage on 9 July.

Both events reflect a broader effort across Polish towns to place visual art in outdoor and community venues during the summer season.
