Polish towns launch supplemental enrolments for 2026/27 preschool and nursery places

The municipality of Wejherowo announced a supplemental recruitment round for free spots in its preschool sections of primary schools for the 2026/2027 school year. Applications are accepted until 17 July via an online form or handwritten documents, with parents allowed to rank up to three preferred institutions. The list of accepted and rejected children will be published on 31 July.

In the city of Bełchatów, a supplemental enrolment opened for the municipal nursery "Jaś i Małgosia", which can accommodate 94 children in six age groups. Twenty‑nine places remain available, and applications must be submitted by 15 August. Parents who receive the "active in nursery" benefit pay only a daily meal fee of 9 zł, as the childcare fee is fully covered by social‑insurance subsidies.
