Polish towns Trzebiatów and Pęgów roll out heritage tourism events

The municipality of Trzebiatów has revived its "Tajemniczy Trzebiatów Nocą" program, offering free guided night walks through the historic streets of the West Pomeranian town. The walks, scheduled for selected Fridays between late June and early September, start at 22:00 from the Tourist Information Centre and feature local legends, historical anecdotes, and live displays such as medieval guards.

In the town of Pęgów, officials have launched the mobile augmented‑reality game "Tajemnice Pęgowa". The app‑based treasure hunt lets participants explore the village’s Neolithic roots, wartime fortifications, and local folklore while solving puzzles and scanning QR codes. The game is positioned as an educational activity for residents and visitors, tied to the upcoming "Święto Truskawki" festival.

Both initiatives aim to boost community engagement and promote regional heritage through interactive experiences.
