Polish towns unveil harvest festival officials and star performer Lanberry

In the town of Suchorzew, the municipal harvest festival (dożynki) will be overseen by newly appointed starosts Bogumił and Agnieszka Kasołkowie, who run an 80‑hectare dairy farm, and by Beata Jakóbczak, a midwife who together with her family cultivates 100 hectares of mushrooms and other crops. The vice‑starost role goes to Radosław Piękny, who farms livestock and crops on a 40‑hectare estate. The festivities, slated for 29 August, will open with an outdoor mass, feature local bands, and conclude with traditional dancing.

Meanwhile, the neighboring gmina of Czerwin announced pop singer Lanberry as the first headline act for its harvest festival, part of the “Jarmarki Czerwińskie” program scheduled for 15 August. Organisers highlighted Lanberry’s popularity on Polish charts and said additional performers will be added in the coming weeks, blending traditional harvest celebrations with contemporary entertainment for families and visitors.
