Polish Traffic Police Competition Names Top Officers

From 15‑19 June 2026 the 36th edition of the national Traffic Police Competition was held at the Łódź garrison and the School of Traffic Police in Sieradz. Over four days participants competed in six disciplines covering traffic law knowledge, short‑range shooting, traffic‑direction at intersections, motorcycle and car skill rides, and first‑aid tests for accident victims.

The individual winners were: Sgt. Mateusz Kowalski (Łódź) in the law‑knowledge test, Junior Asp. Łukasz Łaskawski (Lublin) in shooting, Sgt. Rafał Noworól (Rzeszów) in traffic‑direction, Asp. Paweł Walasek (Kielce) in motorcycle riding, Junior Asp. Kamil StyRNA (Kraków) in car riding, and Asp. Kamil Cader (Kraków) in the first‑aid exam. Team rankings placed the Kraków police unit first, Łódź second and Kielce third.
