Polish travel agencies Rainbow Tours and Wakacje.pl report strong revenue growth amid market challenges

Rainbow Tours announced that its June 2026 sales reached 551 million zł, a 12.7% increase over the same month a year earlier. Consolidated revenue for the Rainbow Tours group, which includes the White Olive hotel chain and Romanian operator Paralela 45 Turism, rose 20.8% to 620.8 million zł. For the first half of 2026, total revenue hit 1.906 billion zł, up 5.8% YoY, and the company sold 511.9 thousand trips, a 6.6% rise, before launching sales for the 2027 summer season.

Virtual Poland Holding’s travel platform Wakacje.pl reported a 3% drop in Q1 pro‑forma revenue to 320.6 million zł, with EBITDA falling 33% to 42.4 million zł, citing reduced demand for trips to Turkey and Egypt after the escalation of conflict in the Middle East. Despite the dip, the platform posted a record 539.07 million zł in 2025, a 25.1% increase from 2024, and has continued to grow its ancillary services such as travel insurance and airport parking revenues.
