Polish TV Host Magdalena Ogórek Hospitalized, Cancels Upcoming Broadcast

Magdalena Ogórek, a well‑known Polish television presenter and former presidential candidate, posted a photo from a hospital bed on social media, confirming she will miss her scheduled program on August 1. In her message she wrote, “Dear fans, recent days have been difficult, therefore I will not be on air at 17:00,” and thanked followers for their support.

Ogórek has previously spoken about recurring health problems and two earlier hospital stays. She said the strain of managing a museum project on looted Polish art, caring for a sick ex‑husband, and supporting her daughter’s studies contributed to her current condition, leading her to pause her on‑air duties.
