Polish TV series “Ranczo” returns, Karolina Ludwiniak rumored as adult Dorotka
The long‑running Polish sitcom “Ranczo” is slated to resume after a ten‑year hiatus with its 11th season, “Ranczo. Zemsta wiedźm”. Filming began on 9 June 2026 and will run until 20 August, producing a self‑contained story of six episodes. The new scripts draw on material left by the late creator Andrzej Grembowicz, adapted by his son Marcin Grembowicz, and director Wojciech Adamczyk promises a depiction of Wilkowyje “for 2026”. The core cast returns – Ilona Ostrowska, Artur Barciś and Cezary Żak (in a dual role as the former mayor now president) – while newcomers such as Daniel Olbrychski, Andrzej Seweryn and the Chapko sisters join the ensemble.
A major point of speculation concerns the role of Dorotka, the adult daughter of Lucy and Kusego. Rumours circulating in industry circles suggest that Karolina Ludwiniak, a young actress with training in London, may be cast in the part, though the production has not confirmed this. If true, the casting would mark a significant debut for Ludwiniak in Polish television and signal a narrative shift as the characters transition into adulthood.
