Polish TV series ‘Ranczo’ returns with new season after ten‑year hiatus

The cult Polish sitcom "Ranczo" is back after a ten‑year break, launching a new six‑episode season titled "Ranczo: Zemsta wiedźm". Original creator and director Wojciech Adamczyk returns to helm the series, which will continue the story of the fictional village Wilkowyje.

A large portion of the classic cast is set to reprise their roles, including Cezary Żak, Ilona Ostrowska, Artur Barciś, Jacek Kawalec, Violetta Arlak, Piotr Ligienza, Magdalena Kuta and others. New faces joining the lineup are Daniel Olbrychski, Andrzej Seweryn, Dorota Stalińska, Katarzyna Maciąg and the Chapko sisters, Paulina and Karolina.

The revival was confirmed on social media by Cezary Żak, who posted a behind‑the‑scenes video with co‑star Piotr Ligienza, and by actress Marta Chodorowska, who shared photos from the set. The announcement has sparked excitement among longtime fans who have awaited the series' return since its final episode aired in 2016.
