Polish universities celebrate major academic anniversaries

Major Polish academic institutions are celebrating significant anniversaries. The University of Warsaw is marking 210 years of development with a special exhibition at the Kazimierzowski Palace. The exhibition, titled ‘University of Warsaw: 210 Years of Development’, explores the institution's history, its Nobel laureates, and its current role in addressing technological progress and climate change.

Simultaneously, the Poznan University of Life Sciences (UPP) has released a jubilee issue of its ‘Wieści Akademickie’ publication to commemorate 75 years. The issue highlights the university's evolution, its scientific research, and its future challenges regarding food security, climate change, and natural resource protection. It features perspectives from current and former university leadership and deans from its six faculties.
