Polish universities launch #NATUREisFUTURE campaign

Ten Polish universities, supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, have launched the #NATUREisFUTURE campaign. The initiative aims to redefine agricultural and natural sciences by highlighting their intersection with modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, and data analysis.

The campaign seeks to attract students to interdisciplinary fields that address contemporary challenges like climate change, food security, and resource management. It emphasizes that modern natural sciences now rely heavily on digital solutions, engineering, and automation to meet evolving labor market demands.

In a related educational development, the Poznań University of Life Sciences (UPP) is implementing a project titled ‘Best from Nature! Education for the Needs of Critical Technologies’. Running through 2029, this project involves collaboration with the Poznań University of Technology to train personnel in critical technology sectors. The program includes curriculum modifications, specialized training for students and faculty, and a ‘Critical Technologies Hackathon’ to foster innovation in digital and green technologies.
