Polish vocational schools boost international mobility with Erasmus+ and eTwinning projects

Students from the Zespół Szkół nr 6 in Suwałki took part in an Erasmus+ vocational‑training project, completing three‑week internships with local companies near Split, Croatia, in advertising, programming, logistics and automotive fields. A second group completed similar placements in Genoa, Italy, focusing on informatics and programming, gaining professional, language and social skills while touring Dalmatia and Liguria.

Meanwhile, pupils from a vocational school in Warka joined an eTwinning initiative, “Our Lives, Our Dreams – International Gateway”, collaborating with three Tunisian schools. Over several months the 11 students used artificial‑intelligence tools to create avatars, generate images and produce graphic projects, while exchanging cultural experiences through joint cooking of Polish and Tunisian dishes. Both programmes emphasized English communication, digital competence and intercultural understanding, showcasing how Polish vocational education is leveraging EU‑funded programmes and modern technology to broaden student horizons.
