Polish volleyball star Łukasz Kaczmarek to meet fans in Krotoszyn on Aug 2

Łukasz Kaczmarek, a native of Krotoszyn and multiple‑time world, European and Olympic medalist, will return to his hometown for a public event on Sunday, 2 August 2026. The meet‑and‑greet will be held at Primary School No. 3 named after John Paul II in Krotoszyn, beginning at 14:00.

Attendees can hear Kaczmarek discuss his career, take part in a quiz, receive a medal and commemorative T‑shirt, and train with the champion. Organisers include the Krotoszyn City and Commune Office and Poland’s Ministry of Sport and Tourism, which will also provide photo and autograph opportunities.

Kaczmarek’s résumé features junior world and European titles, gold medals at the 2023 Nations League and European Championship, silver at the 2022 World Championships and the 2024 Olympic Games, three consecutive Champions League titles (2021‑2023), multiple Polish league and cup victories, and a 2023 world‑player award. He has not been selected for the national team by coach Nikolai Grbić for two years and will resume club play in the 2026/27 season.
